Natural Science

acrylic and silver leaf on birch panel
8 x 10 inches, framed
2012
$450.00
email trueloveartgallery@gmail.com or call 206.227.3572 for inquiries

A young red fox sits besides his forest altar while a cardinal rings the altar's bell, with the insignia of the inverted pentagram.  The blue jay observes from below.  Candles burn upon the skull, lighting the night.

The animals are guardians of the occult; their secrets and magic elusive to humanity.

They are invincible ghosts of the forest....

This painting will be on display tonight at Seattle's True Love Gallery for their "Natural Science" show.

With Love, Your Biggest Fan

"Movie Quality"
acrylic on birch panel
Inspired by "Step Brothers"
5 x 7 inches, oval, framed to 7 x 9 inches oval
2012
$200.00
SOLD

Here's my painting for Arch Enemy Art's "With Love, Your Biggest Fan" show, opening June 7th in Philly.
The title of the painting refers to the end of "Step Brothers" where the guys get Chewbacca masks from their parents, and one isn't as realistic as the other, leading Brennan to remark, "It's okay that mine's not movie quality."
The painting also contains some of my other favorite elements from the movie, including white dog crap.

Everything in the show is only $100, and the artist lineup is both humongous and exciting.
